About PAINTING, MUSIC and About Myself...

   If I reflect on Art of painting, I usually use a musical terminology. Maybe because simply I love music, but faster for

the reason certain relationship, with which these two kinds of art are incorporated. Both painting and music with

a strange, incomprehensible image excite our feelings, force to sound most secret strings of soul, and the way,

with which it is achieved, lays not through reason, and through the heart. How to explain what this picture has turned out better or has liked more others? In traditional art it is possible to look the answer to for this question in the field of an interesting plot well caught of a condition, deep psychologism etc. But how to approach to abstract painting with such criterions? As for me

the explanation to this lays in a musical plane, it - HARMONY!

The harmony - here that what searches the artist. To find those notes, which are conformable to you to combine from them chords and to write down the turned out melody through paints on the canvas - here the basic task. If you  were not false,

the harmony created in a picture will begin to sound, and it will see, in independence of that realism it or abstraction,

multifigured composition or still life, smart portrait or unpretentious landscape.

Now I shall try to estimate the creative criteria and picturesque predilections. And here musical parallels help me

to avoid all "ism"s so bored in conversations and judgements about painting. I hope, nobody will argue with what I'll tell.  

There are some basic categories in music:

- Classical music

- Folk music

- Popular music

- Jazz

     I think each of us, by replacing a word "music" on a word "painting" will receive a terminology, which quite adequately approaches for an estimation of a condition of fine art for today. And if to expand a terminology,

by allocating from each category also the basic directions, it is possible to receive most powerful toolkit for  an assessment of works of each author. However, I give to you an opportunity to make the musical-picturesque dictionary itself. I would like to talk that the most precisely can describe my creative method is JAZZ. Jazz is phenomenal music not knowing of low and high themes, and recognizing soul and skill of the executor in

the chapter of a corner. And it is unimportant, that - "Kalinka", fug, classical jazz standard like "Caravan" or own product.

The talented musician - improviser is capable not only to play, but also to express his personal creativity

& mood through this music. Cause music - only pretext for deep and sincere conversation on souls between the executor and student.  And the painting is a tool capable in all subtleties to express my today's mood, whether

it is landscape, still life or abstraction - main, that the improvisation on the given theme was earning - only mine

and the drawn game has more.
